Animation Nation 3 - Visions of Childhood
Animation springs from "the childlike desire to bring the fantasy world to life." Animation became a way to reach children - and then it became the promotion for merchandising. In all of it there's "underlying absurdity" - that finds its full expression in Nick Park's Wallace and Gromit.
